One of Jessie’s birthday gifts was tickets to a pre-season hockey game to watch the Colorado Avalanche take on the LA Kings. It was our first professional hockey game and a good one since the Avalanche is Jessie’s favorite team and the Kings are her second favorite team. I would have liked to got us better seats but I only found out about the game a few days ago and there were not many seats left. We still had a great view though. It was a good game. It was tied 1 to 1 and then went into overtime. Neither team scored in over time so it went to a shoot out and the Kings pulled off the victory. It was a good time.
