There are different types of pay that someone in the US military might get. Things such as Base pay, BAH, and several others.
Click the link to view the 2024 base pay chart for enlisted and officers. This is your basic pay that all service member gets based on their pay grade or rank.
Click the link to look up the Basic Allowance for Housing (BAH) rate based on rank and zip code. This is the amount that a service member receives to help pay for rent off post if they qualify to receive BAH.
2024 Basic Allowance for Subsistence (BAS) Rates
This is an allowance that a service member receives to help pay for food if a servicemember qualifies to receive BAS. Otherwise the servicemember will receive food from the on post dinning facility at no charge.
Enlisted: $460.25 per month
Officers: $316.98 per month
