Disney announced yesterday that Marvel Studios has begun production on Guardians of the Galaxy vol. 2, set for a May 5, 2017 release date. Filming of the movie will take place in Pinewood Studios in Atlanta, GA. The sequel will be focusing on “the team’s adventures as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s true parentage”, says Disney. We will have to wait and see if the film can live up to the success of the first movie that made over 770 million dollars worldwide.
